Our Program
The VC Club is a year-long program that connects selected students from top academic institutions to Israel's vibrant startup ecosystem and reveals the inner workings of venture capital. Members progress from curious observers to confident insiders through practitioner-led workshops, expert lectures, closed-door sessions with top investors, and hands-on projects — graduating with the skills, relationships, and insight to operate at the heart of Israel's innovation economy.
1st Semester
The first semester equips members with the map, vocabulary, and analytical instincts of venture capital — from the VC structure to how investors assess risk and opportunity. By its end, members can read a term sheet, size a market, and articulate a compelling investment thesis.
VC 101 - A
Ecosystem culture and introduction to venture capital — LinkedIn, history, financials, LPs, and basic structure.
VC 101 - B
Investors' insider — investment thesis, startup fundraising, and investment criteria.
VC 101 - C
Due-diligence case study, deal-flow pipeline, opportunity evaluation, term sheets, and portfolio management.
An entrepreneur's perspective
Finding the right investor, exploring alternatives, understanding VC stages, tips for approaching VCs, and success/failure stories.
Legal VC
Fundraising legal dilemmas, deal structure, founders' agreements, cap tables, rights, red flags, and liquidation preferences.
Tour to a top Israeli VC
Types of roles, the analysis and evaluation workflow, and day-to-day life inside a fund.
Psychological biases of investors
The mental hurdles and biases of investing and entrepreneurship.
2nd Semester
In the second semester, members put their skills into motion — transitioning from learning to leading. On either the entrepreneurship or investment track, students work in teams on real-world simulations, culminating in an engaging Demo Day where builders showcase their work and investors evaluate it.
